Privacy policy

How HonorLabs handles information on this website and in the email our systems send. Written to be read, not to be survived.

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Who this covers

This policy applies to honorlabs.io and to the email that HonorLabs, the internal technology team of Honor Health Network, sends from that domain. It does not govern the internal applications we operate for the network — those are covered by the network's own policies and the notices presented inside each application — and it does not govern any third-party website we link to.

What this website collects

Nothing. This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising or tracking scripts, and asks you for no information. There is no account to create and no form that stores what you type.

As with any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical data required to deliver a page — IP address, request time, user agent, and the URL requested. These records are used for security and to keep the site running, and are retained for a limited period. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

The site makes no third-party requests at all. Fonts, styles, images, and scripts are served from this domain, so viewing a page does not contact any outside service on your behalf.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your address, your message, and anything you attach. We use it to answer you, to resolve the issue you raised, and to keep a record of the request. We do not use it for marketing unless you separately opt in, and we do not share it outside the people who need it to help you.

Please do not send protected health information, government identifiers, passwords, or payment details by email.

Information in our email program

For the mail our systems send, we hold:

  • the recipient's email address and the account or working relationship it belongs to;
  • where a subscription is involved, the date and source of the opt-in;
  • delivery events — sends, deliveries, bounces, and complaints;
  • engagement events such as opens and clicks, used to judge deliverability and list health;
  • unsubscribe and suppression state.

We use this only to deliver mail, to keep our lists accurate, and to meet our legal obligations. The full description of what we send and why is on our email practices page.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not rent, trade, or share recipient lists for anyone else's marketing.
  • We do not buy, scrape, or append email addresses from third parties.
  • We do not use this website to track you across other sites.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to operate: Amazon Web Services for hosting this site and Amazon Simple Email Service for sending mail. These providers process data on our instructions under their own agreements with us, and only to provide the service.

How long we keep things

Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request and to maintain a record of it. Mail delivery and engagement events are kept for a limited operational period. Suppression records — the list of addresses that asked not to be contacted — are kept indefinitely, because deleting them would risk mailing someone who asked us not to.

Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege practices appropriate to a health network. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for the assumption that any data we hold is worth protecting.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe from any announcement or digest using the link in the message, or by writing to us.
  • Ask what we hold about you, and request a copy.
  • Correct information that is wrong.
  • Request deletion, except where we must retain something — a suppression record, or data we are legally required to keep.

Send any of these requests to support@honorlabs.io. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and will ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request about a specific person's data.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle information will be described here rather than made quietly.
